Hello, my name is Amanda PLZ I am a DJ and music producer out of Sarasota, FL. I wrote my first song on a light blue piece of construction paper at the age of 5 years old. My undying passion for music has led me to choose a lifelong career in the music industry.

I began my studies in music in elementary school and carried on my studies through college. At 17, I graduated high school early to attended Middle State University in Murfreesboro, TN (Right outside of Nashville) to study music business. I later went on to get my AS in Engineering Technologies. Weeks after graduating with my AS, I began classes at The Recording Conservatory of Austin Texas where I studied Music Business, Music Production, and Audio Engineering. The program is completed online via screen share where I received one on one lessons with amazing teachers.

I was a former intern at Baysound Studio here in Sarasota where I worked closely with the studio's Audio Engineer, Bob Frank, to further excel in mixing and mastering techniques. A lot of fun is to be had at Baysound. We focus on recording and producing live bands. 

​

I have been blessed with the opportunity to work along side ill.Gates and his team at The Producer Dojo where I have made many life long friends. I am truly thankful for the knowledge he openly shares. If you are curious to know more about The Producer Dojo, shoot me a message and we can chat.

There have been many great musical influences in my life, starting with my parents who have always shared their passion for music with me. My mom is a pianist, and my dad a drummer. 

​

Growing up, I listened to Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift, NeverShoutNever, Paramore, Miranda Lambert, Kanye West, Nickleback, Gwen Stafani, and many other great lyricists. I love the messages which are spread through music. 

​

When I first discovered Space Jesus and Yheti, I knew I needed to learn how to produce electronic music. A few other electronic influences include Tipper, Bog Trotter, Levitation Jones, G-Space, TheFloozies, Griz, He$H, Caked Up,  Toadface, Odesza, and more. 

 

My absolute favorite musician of all time is Mac Miller. He was a beautiful soul and made such a dramatic impact on my life.  He will be missed dearly. RIP <3
